OUR APPROACH
At North Idaho Equestrian Center, we take pride in representing our dedicated members that strive to succeed in their horsemanship skills and competitive sports. We promote a culture of strength and achievement, empowering individuals to pursue their dreams in the equestrian world.
HORSEMANSHIP EDUCATION
Our Horsemanship program goes beyond just riding; we focus on understanding horse behavior and communication while developing strong leadership skills, establishing healthy boundaries, and developing confidence. Our goal is to equip students with the skills to work with horses in any situation, both on the ground and in the saddle. Through all of our programs we emphasize comprehensive horse care and health, ensuring our students are well-prepared to nurture equine companions.

Our diverse team of trainers are specialized to support individuals at all skill levels and backgrounds, ensuring that every student receives the tailored guidance they need to succeed.

Horses, tack, and safety equippment are provided. We encourage students to wear wester boots and jeans.

WESTERN PERFORMANCE
We proudly represent our western performance team that consist of intermediate to advanced riders dedicated to excelling in various western shows! In 2024, our students won multiple Championshhips and Reserve Championsips in versatile horse shows inluding reining, cow work, pleasure, and trail.

As students progress from beginner to advance level, they have the opportunity to move up to the performance team where we offer comprehensive training in a variety of competitions, including versatile horse shows, omoksee, barrel racing, and more. We are dedicated to helping students develop their skills and confidence as they prepare for these thrilling events.​​
ADVENTURE CLUB
Experience a variety of enriching equestrian and outdoors adventures all year round! Our Adventure club is focusd on introducing kids to outdoors activities in a nurturing and supportive environment while helping them gain key life skills such as leadership, self-awareness, resilience, team work, critical thinking, and work ethic.
Adventure Club is a year-long program that introduces students to hands-on animal care, horsemanship, wildlife knowlege, survival skills, first aid, outdoors safety, and more. Some of the activities include horseback riding and horse care, building fires, first response in an emergency situation, scouting and gathering, self-examination and self-reflection, and outdoors games to engage in team work.​​​
SPECIAL EVENTS
Celebrate your birthdays and special events with us in a serene and nature-filled setting! Enjoy the company of our beautiful horses at a peaceful and easily accessible location. We provide tables both outdoors and under cover, along with plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun. Our ranch is open year-round for your unforgettable gatherings!
